Why does postage cost this amount?Updated 3 months ago
We do our best to keep costs low for customers, but we do have to charge the amount we do for postage to cover the cost of sending it to you! What you pay for postage goes towards:
The cost of postage itself with our couriers, whether that is Royal Mail or Pedal Collective. We always use tracked delivery services so that we are able to keep tabs on your orders as closely as possible; with both of our couriers you will receive your tracking information by email too.
The packing materials we use to send your order in (the cost of these always surprises us! To keep our postage and packing cost low, we try to re-use as much donated packaging as we can)
The time and effort we put into packing each of your orders, making sure that delicate plants, terracotta and ceramic pots, fragile glass vessels, art prints that need to stay flat, and anything else you might want to order from us, arrives in one piece and in the same condition it left the shop in.
We don’t have a minimum spend on our online orders, so the postage price may seem high for smaller items but this is just what it costs us to send. If you spend over £60, you can claim free shipping as a thank you for spending big with Sprouts 💚
