What plant would you recommend for a damp bathroom?Updated 3 months ago
Our biggest recommendation for damp bathroom spaces would be ferns - these plants generally love moisture and don’t mind about the lower light you generally get in bathrooms (for example with obscure or patterned glass in the windows). They are also generally not too picky about getting their leaves wet. See our collection of ferns here or our blog post about different ferns here. If you want something that looks a bit fancier, most plants in the Marantaceae family will also be happy with lower light and damp bathroom environments. If your bathroom is especially shady, look for those with purple on the undersides of the leaves; in a brighter bathroom, any of these should be fine, but keep them out of direct sun.
