Should I be feeding my plants?Updated 3 months ago
Probably - most plants will stop growing or grow less when they run out of nutrients in the soil. While some plants will grow quickly enough to need repotting every year, and so will get fresh soil with fresh nutrients regularly enough, most don’t grow quite so quickly, and will need feeding in between.
Most multipurpose houseplant feeds will work well when used about once a month at the recommended dilution, or diluted even more and added whenever you water. There’s also the slow-release fertilisers, which just need sprinkling on top of your soil every nine months.
