How sad are rescue plants?Updated 3 months ago

Our rescue plants are usually in need of just a little care and attention - and patience - to recover. Often they have sustained some cosmetic damage while on display, or have finished flowering if they are a flowering species, or have dropped some leaves and are on the small side. Sometimes plants just don’t agree with the environment in the shop and the best thing we can do is hurry them off to new homes. We will only include plants we would be happy to rescue ourselves.

We will not send out any plants that we think are not going to make it; if we have one that’s on the brink we may add it to your rescue box but if it’s less likely to survive its cost won’t be included in the box price and we will note this for you - we would just rather it had a chance at life in a new home if there is no chance for it in the shop.
