How much would an office / place of work install cost?Updated 3 months ago
Each plant installation is unique, and the cost will depend on the number, size and type of plants you want. Prices are subject to change as plant prices and service charges may fluctuate, so the following is a guideline of approximate prices we have charged recently.
For a rough idea, a recent plant installation in a smaller workplace cost around £800 + VAT, and a recent large office we installed plants in cost £4000 + VAT.
Here’s a more detailed breakdown of prices for different tiers of service we have done in the past and can offer:
Indoor
Prices start from £500 + VAT for a smaller office, and will increase with the size of space you’d like filling and the level of service you require. For this price you get not only the plants, planters / pots and substrate but also consultancy, site visits and interior plant design from our team, and of course the installation work. We can also work with pre-existing pots and planters, but will need measurements and details in order to fill them with substrate.
Outdoor
Our smallest outdoor installs have been window boxes. Pricing per medium window box (60cm x 20cm x 20cm) is £50 + VAT. For this price we will fill your window boxes with seasonal plants and refresh the soil - if you would like new window boxes, we can also source these for an extra fee. For our existing window box clients, we refresh their boxes on a quarterly basis to keep them lush and growing with every season.
For larger outdoor spaces with existing planters or beds, we will charge £290 + VAT per square metre. In this price you’ll get the plants and topdressing, alongside our team’s work softscaping the area, and expertise in garden design. We use British-grown perennials and evergreens to ensure the longevity of your outdoor space, and will maximise the value for pollinators and aesthetics for year-round colour. At this price, your planters will be densely planted with mature plants for instant impact. There is the possibility of using smaller plug plants to bring down the cost slightly; these can take 2-5 years to fully establish.
If you have ready-built but new and empty raised beds, prices start from £540 + VAT per square metre. For this you will get everything described above, plus we’ll load your planters up with the substrate and membrane to plant everything into.
If you need your whole space hardscaping, with planters or beds being built from scratch, as well as all softscaping, planting and design as outlined above, prices start from £950 + VAT per square metre.
