Our main tips would be:

• Think about what plant you’re putting where - location matters and can make it much easier or much harder to care for your plant.

• Feel the soil before you water. If it’s already wet, you won’t need to water it again - and some plants like to be watered less frequently!

• Look up individual plants to find the best care for them - what works for one plant won’t work for them all

• Be patient - both with your plants and yourself. They take time to grow, and you’ll take time to learn how best to care for them
